Since the Club of Rome's, "Limits of Growth" global modeling study (circa 1970) it has become clear that humans are both depleting our finite petrochemical resources while simultaneously effecting the worlds ecosystem. It was the "Limits to Growth" study that first hinted at the Greenhouse effect, Global warming and other feedback loops between the planet and human activity.
NAC believes that population reduction and sustainable resource management are essential to bringing the planet back into a renewable and sustainable state. One of the current initiatives supported by NAFA is the Apollo Project. Until we have time to further elaborate this is a good source of ideas for attaining a sustainable environment.
