Overview: Why Should Prop19 Be Voted Against by Marijuana Consumers?
To the good people of California:
This is directed at both those that use
Marijuana (Medically/Recreationally) and those that do not. If
the materials below convince you that Prop19 is a misguided proposal
then print off copies of following flier by simply clicking on the
picture below. Distribute copies as widely as possible
throughout the state of California: at Hemp Expos, Public Fairs and
anywhere else where you are likely to find large numbers of
Californian voters. Prop19 really needs to go down in flames
this November (2010).

Prop19 needs to be defeated. But
don't be disheartened. We have an alternative strategy that
will provide better, cheaper access to Marijuana both in California
and, eventually throughout the planet. In fact what we hope is
that, one day soon, all adult Americans will be able to grow
all the Marijuana we wish in our own gardens: next to the beets and
red tomatoes. Marijuana is NOT a dangerous plant and should
be treated as such. After all 2009 marked the first year where
over 50 percent of the American People now believe that Marijuana
should be Re-Legalized. And this new majority is only expected
to grow larger as we transcend over 70 years of misguided Marijuana
Prohibition and move toward what you might call a Marijuana Nation:
a nation where the thousands of uses of Marijuana is embraced and
the right to consume and cultivate Marijuana is upheld as an
inalienable right.

But Prop19 is a Trojan Horse proposal
that will set back "true" Marijuana Re-Legalization by decades.
And this is not coming from the Obama Administration, Law
Enforcement or Attorney's: many whom profit from the nearly Million
Americans arrested every year for merely possessing small amounts of
Marijuana. This is coming from someone who was a good friend
of the late Jack Herer: author of "The Emperor Wears No Clothes."
I am actively working
against the passage of Prop19 because what starts in California tends to
spread across the other states. And Prop19 is disease that
needs to be put to rest before it has the chance to infect other
states. Prop19 merely replaces one artificial system with
another: Marijuana Prohibition with "Taxed, Regulated and
Controlled" Marijuana Prohibition. Except now the cities,
states and federal government will become your new "Drug Dealer."
And under Prop19 all Marijuana Cultivation will eventually be
relegated to a handful of greedy millionaires such as Oaksterdam
Board "member" Winston. It is also becoming clear that, in order for them to collect taxes,
on every gram of Marijuana produced, they are intent on taking away
your right to grow it yourself.

As
Marijuana Re-Legalization advocates really begin to
analyze the implications of the Prop19, (The Tax,
Regulate and Control Marijuana Initiative) they are
slowly waking up to the fact that this is not really
"Marijuana Legalization" at all. Instead it
appears to be a "Trojan Horse" proposal to monopolize
Marijuana production and to eventually eliminate ALL
home growing for ANY purpose. Evidence of this is
alreday becomng apparent in cities like Oakland that are
already pushing dispensaries out of business. In
another city they are implementing a fee of $600 per
square foot of growing space for home growers and
caregivers: should Prop19 pass.
Prop19 will tie the
Marijuana Legalization Movement into a "Gordian Knot"
that will take decades to reverse.
A growing
number of activists are realizing the their is actually
a much better strategy to completely end Marijuana
Cultivation in the United States:
(1) Pass
Jack Herer's CCHH Initiative in 2012 in California and
in other states where initiatives are allowed.

(2) Insist on the passage the the "MERP" Model for
Marijuana Re-Legalization. This would need to be
done at a National level through a special Joint Session
of Congress.

But the
main purpose of this web page is to going to be kept
rather simple. We will just be focusing on
articles, events, videos and other websites that are
intended to educate Marijuana advocates that Prop19
initiative needs to go down in flames in November 2010.
