The Peaceful 2nd American Revolution Begins by Re-Legalizing Marijuana Re-Legalize Marijuana Now, Obama (Part 3) The Peaceful 2nd American Revolution Begins by Re-Legalizing Marijuana As I ponder the fate of our once-great nation, the United States of America, I thought it might be instructive to search for articles addressing the events that led to the 1st American Revolution. So I brought up Google and started my search: Google ["american revolution" cause trade] After a bit of research I found an summary in Encarta which I believe every single American should begin reading RIGHT NOW! American Revolution http://encarta.msn.com/encyclopedia_761569964/American_Revolution.html The reason for such urgency stems from the incredible parallels that exist between our current situation and the events that led up to the 1st American Revolution. And should we wish to maintain our sovereignty, as the United States, it is apparent that we need to begin our own Peaceful 2nd American Revolution right now. First let’s consider the “Introduction”: ==================== American Revolution (1775-1783), conflict between 13 British colonies in North America and their parent country, Great Britain. It was made up of two related events: the American War of Independence (1775-1783) and the formation of the American government as laid out by the Constitution of the United States in 1787. First, the war achieved independence from Great Britain by the colonies. Second, the newly created United States of America established a republican form of government, in which power resided with the people. The revolution had many causes. Long-term social, economic, and political changes in the colonies before 1750 provided the basis for an independent nation with representative political institutions. More immediately, the French and Indian War (1754-1763) changed the relationship between the colonies and their mother country. Finally, a decade of conflicts between the British government and the colonists, beginning with the Stamp Act crisis in 1765, led to the outbreak of war in 1775 and the Declaration of Independence in 1776. ==================== So basically there were two phases to the American Revolution: (1) A war to achieve independence from Great Britain (2) The establishment of a republican form of government, in which power resided with the people. Now if you read through the article you will find that the problems arose after the French Indian Wars (1754-1763). These wars cost the “mother country,” Great Britain, dearly. So in order to get “paid back” they began to impose increasing restrictions and taxes onto the colonies. Today it is not a contiguous state we have to deal with but a “global elite” that is composed of the super-rich from all around the planet: the US, Saudi Arabia, China. But in fact it really isn’t counties that are our adversaries but rather interlinked multi-national corporations. And now that they have offshored our jobs and factories, allowed unprecedented immigration into our country, deregulated our financial system etc. they are out to seal our fate at the upcoming G-20 summit in April. President Obama has already made it quite clear that he will fully comply with these globalist scum and attempt to move us toward a global government, with a single currency. It is no wonder that Obama never cites the contributions of our founding fathers – Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson -- because they would rise from their graves if they know what Obama was up to. Let me give you my brief assessment of what will occur should we not rise from our long sleep. Obama, at the behest of these global elite, will start moving the United States toward dissolution into a North American Union composed of Canada, the United States and Mexico. The true rulers, the global elite, will love this since it will provide cheap resource from Canada, cheap labor from Mexico, and will most certainly destroy the sovereignty of the people in all 3 nations. If you have been doing your research you already understand that this process is well underway in the form of ignoring our immigration laws; allowing foreigners (both legal and illegal) to buy up our homes and displace us from our jobs; establishing a huge transportation corridor running from Mexico through to Canada. And there is one development that Americans should really, really think about . . . as it betrays Obama for the traitor that I am increasingly suspicious that he really is. And that development would be the coming “war” at the Mexican-American border which he will insist is due to these darned Mexican Drug Cartels. He will use this as an excuse to integrate the Mexican and American military in order to ultimately “harmonize” the two countries into the southern expanse of the North American Union. I may be as dumb as a rock on some subjects but I understand drug policy as well as anyone on this planet. I have been involved in this for over 20 years now: writing on the social, economic, historic etc. aspects of drug policy. For 10 of those years I published an internationally distributed magazine on drug policy that went be the name “New Age Patriot.” Today I have continued that tradition with my website: “New Age Citizen.” So let me give you the “skinny” on what is really going on and why it is totally unnecessary. Well, I’ve already explained what is going on: Obama is using the coming “Mexican-American Border War Against the Drug Cartels” to usher in the southern expanse of the North American Union. Once completely expect more of your jobs to tank as the Trans Texas Corridor (e.g., the NAFTA Super Highway) begins to bring Chinese goods, produced in Mexican factories, to the towns and cities where you live. Of course since you will no longer have a job I’m not quite sure how you will pay for them. Now let me briefly explain why Obama, and his globalist controllers, are lying through their teeth. First of all the global elite is up to their eyeballs in the Illicit Drug trade. A recent UN Report (another enemy of the people) was stupid enough to admit that the only thing keeping the International Banks solvent has been the laundering and investment of money from the various Drug Cartels of Mexico, Afghanistan and various other countries. So do you really think they want to see Illicit Drug Sales go away? And then there is the 40-80 Billion dollar “Black Military Operations” budget which even the president is not privy to. The “Black Ops” budget is obviously also supported by the sale and distribution of Illicit Narcotics. The Illicit Drug Trade is a metastasizing cancer that has infected the entire world economy and you should be concerned. Mexican Drug Cartels now are active in over 230 cities throughout the Untied States according to recent reports. They are buying up your businesses, your homes and corrupting every level of government from cities to the White House. But there is a very simple solution to this problem that the Corporate Media does not want you to understand. Just Re-Legalize the damn Marijuana under a model that is geared to destroying all the profits of illicit Marijuana sales (e.g., the MERP Model). Let me explain . . . In a nutshell it all boils down to this. 70 percent of the Mexican Drug Cartel profits ($38 billion a year) are generated from the sale of Marijuana in the United States. So if you simply allow personal cultivation, by American Citizens, the Mexican Drug Cartels are deprived of 70 percent of their profits and they wither like a orchid in the middle of Death Valley. Here is a lengthier description of how this would work from my series: “Legalize Marijuana Now, Obama”: ==================== What is the MERP Model? MERP is really a one syllable contraction of the acronym MRPP which is short for the “Marijuana Re-Legalization Policy Project.” For brevity I will be using MERP from this point forward. The MERP Model for Marijuana Re-Legalization is elegant in its simplicity and can be succinctly described as follows: “The MERP model of Marijuana Re-Legalization would minimally allow non-commercial cultivation of up to 100 plants, by adults above the age of 18, without any form of government taxation, regulation or other interference.” The MERP Model is really not significantly different than the way we allow US citizens to produce beer and wine within our homes. Home beer and wine production is neither taxed nor is it regulated. And many activists need to be weaned from this false notion that the government should get to tax everything. If they don’t tax your tomatoes or your beer, why should they be allowed to tax your Cannabis? But the MERP Model does not preclude the issuance of licenses for commercial sale. Here is how it would work. In the United States an ounce of high quality Marijuana sells for between 300 to 500 dollars due to the risk that the growers and distributors take to bring it to market. This is due to the fact that it is illegal. But it only costs about 20 dollars per ounce to actually grow an ounce of Marijuana using hydroponics and high intensity discharge lamps. It’s basically free if you grow outside. So if you could buy commercially grown Marijuana for 100 dollars per ounce many people would not bother to grow it. But if the price of commercially grown Marijuana was over 200 dollars per ounce most people would probably decide to grow their own. By protecting the citizens inalienable right to cultivate, without taxation or regulation, the MERP Model effectively “self regulates” the market. None of the moneyed organizations, such as MPP or DPA, currently support the MERP Model as they tend to favor models that “tax and regulate” Marijuana much like we tax and regulate “hard liquor.” They continue to reject the MERP Model by saying support is still well below fifty percent. But I no longer think this is actually true. 55 percent of Canadians support complete legalization in 2009 and 58 percent support now exists in California. Harris and Zogby polls under report because they are based on surveys through landlines. Since many younger Americans use “cell phones” their support is under reported. And just like “hard liquor” there would be a very good chance that they would not allow you to grow your own under their “tax and regulate” models for Marijuana Re-Legalization.. And if you were able to grow your own the government would probably insist on charging you a hefty annual license fee to allow you such a privilege under these “tax and regulate” models. It should be emphasized that the MERP Model has intrinsic advantages over all the “tax and regulate” models that are promoted by these “moneyed” organizations. For it is only by completely taking the profit out of Marijuana that we can effectively defund both drug gangs and the Mexican Drug Cartels that have now infiltrated 230 major cities throughout the United States according to the Justice Department. The MERP Model would also stimulate United States economy even if everyone decided to grow their own. According to a recent “60 Minutes” show, (Mexico: The War Next Door), Mexican Drug Cartels bring in over $38 billion a year from the US” which ends up in Mexico. In a recent CNN interview Attorney General Terry Goddard stated that 60 to 70% of the Mexican Drug Cartel profits are derived from Marijuana sales. But incredibly both he, and Anderson Cooper, is against the Re-Legalization of Marijuana. But let’s take a moment to do the math. If 70 percent of the $38 Billion, in Mexican Drug Cartel profits, originate from Marijuana then we are talking about $26.6 billion a year. So by implementing the MERP Model we could keep nearly $266 Billion dollars in the United States economy over the next 10 years. That amounts to a quarter trillion dollars, in 10 years, which would remain in the US economy producing both jobs and badly needed tax revenue. And best of all it could be accomplished without raising another dime of taxation on the American people. And that is exactly what the MERP Model would accomplish. ==================== And of course there would be a number of other benefits that every American should want to see occur, such as: (1) Defund all of the Mexican, Islamic and other drug cartels. (2) Defund all of the local drug gangs (3) Cripple the movement toward a centralized Globalist Government (4) Reclaim the liberties lost in the wake of 911 Now let me briefly explain how this parallels how the 1st American Revolution. One of the most effective and under reported measures -- that the colonists took against Great Britain -- was the Nonimportation Movement. In other words stop financing your enemies by buying their products. While I do think we should stop importing goods from China, and working towards energy independence from the Middle East, the most effective measure that we could take RIGHT NOW would be to stop importing Marijuana from Mexico. If this does not make sense to you, you must be heavily medicated or watch too much Corporate Media. And it might also be useful to consider that Washington, Franklin and Jefferson all grew and advocated the use of Marijuana, which they then called hemp. So let me summarize and invite you to become members of the new “Sons and Daughters of Liberty.” There were two phases to the 1st American Revolution: (1) A war to achieve independence from Great Britain (2) The establishment of a republican form of government, in which power resided with the people. In this most necessary “Peaceful 2nd American Revolution” there will also be two phases: (1) A gradual peaceful policy of non-importation, beginning with Re-Legalization of Marijuana, to achieve independence from the Global Elite. (2) The re-establishment of a republican form of government, in which power, once again, reside with the people. The arguments for Re-Legalizing Marijuana are just too compelling: 70 percent of the Mexican Drug Cartel profits ($38 billion a year) are generated from the sale of Marijuana in the United States. So if you simply allow personal cultivation, by American Citizens, the Mexican Drug Cartels would literally be eliminated within weeks. And without even regulating or taxing Marijuana it would keep at least $27 Billion dollars in the US economy each year after the MERP Model is implemented.
