Protesting Prop19 at the Know Your Rights Convention on Saturday, August 28th (Anaheim, California)

We are encouraging Marijuana Re-Legalization activists to join us in order to hand out "Say No to Prop19" literature at the "Know Your Rights" Convention hosted by Russ Belleville (NORML writer) in Anaheim California (10 AM - 10 PM).  We will have over 5000 fliers available to distribute and are in immediate need of activists to help pass these fliers out.  Please consider joining us this Saturday in Anaheim.  And if at all possible please print off additional double sided fliers by clicking on the image of the flier below:

I am proud to assist a newly formed group of activists that are in opposition to the Prop19: [The Tax, Regulate and Control Proposal that will be on the California ballot this November].

For those that do not understand how counter productive Prop19 is to "true" Marijuana Re-Legalization: please read all of the articles at the following page.

At some point I would also urge you to take the time to watch this 35 minute video of Dennis Peron ripping Prop19 to shreds: point by point.  Keep in mind that Dennis is recovering from a mild stroke which makes the disassembly of Prop19 all the more noteworthy.  For those unaware, Dennis Peron was instrumental in getting the first statewide Medical Marijuana Initiative (Prop215) passed in November, 1996.  And contrary to recent propaganda from NORML, and other groups, Dennis Peron is still diametrically opposed to Prop19.  Are you listening Richard Lee?  Your Prop19 "pipedream" is about to go down in flames:

Vote NO on Prop 19: regulate, control and tax is not legalization from November Elections on Vimeo.

This Anti-Prop19 action is being organized on short notice so if you live around Anaheim, or Orange County, I encourage you to get involved and help to pass out fliers outside of the convention.  The are expecting 10,000 people so we will need all the help we can get.

Here is the "skinny" on this 1st action against Prop19:

Event Description:

Event to hand out "Say No to Prop19" literature at "Know Your Rights" Convention hosted by Russ Belleville (NORML writer).  Belleville and National NORML have expressed support for Prop19. Click here for more info on the event in case you would like to attend after passing out fliers.

And here is the 2-sided flyer that we will be passing out:

Title of Flier: "Why are the proponents of Prop19 telling everyone to ignore the problems and vote "yes" anyway?"

This is a flyer that activists can pass out at all Marijuana Expos and Events between now and November..  It is a great summary of some of the best arguments against Prop19.
