Lots of interesting
comments from this video which has already had over 500
viewings. I did want to point out that I really
did not mean to single Adam Brook out. Many NORML
members, in Michigan, were aware of the event and not a
single NORML member showed up. It is even possible
that Adam was with John Sinclair who was in Europe at
the time of the event.

gives insights into exactly how the WTO is pushing us
all towards a New World Order, which is interconnected
with the global trade in illicit drugs.

Petition for the Immediate
Re-Legalization of Marijuana by implementing MERP
through a Special Joint Session of Congress:
We the undersigned demand that President
Obama immediately implement he MERP Model for Marijuana
Re-Legalization through a special emergency “joint”
session of Congress. This is the same approach that was
used to pass the TARP Bailout on 10/03/2008: a bill that
was opposed by over 80% of the American People and which
only benefited the very same “banksters” that have
destroyed the US economy. According to a recent Zogby
Poll Marijuana Re-Legalization is now supported by 52%
of the American people and is expected to grow by at
least 1% each year. The MERP model basically treats
the unlimited, untaxed, unregulated “self cultivation”
of Marijuana as a sacred, inalienable right. By
implementing MERP three important goals would
immediately be achieved without any expenditure of
American “blood or treasure.” It would (1) destroy the
Mexican Drug Cartels; (2) allow access to free medicine
by the sick and the poor, and (3) will immediately stop
any further home invasions by law enforcement. It will
also unleash the Agricultural and Industrial products
that can be made from Cannabis (e.g., Hemp). Note that
a street address is optional as long as you provide an
email address. The purpose of this petition is to send
a message to Obama and alert the activist community
about upcoming events to end Marijuana Prohibition by
implementing the MERP Model.

I am so pleased by the news
coverage we received from last Saturday's
Re-Legalization protest in Dearborn. I am
not pleased that, despite contacting many NORML and MMMA
members, not a single member of either group attended
the protest. Still we got two news stories out of
the protest as well as news coverage on Channel 7: 7 PM
and 11 PM. A video of my address, demanding an
immediate implementation of the MERP Model, will soon be
made available on YouTube. The main focus of the
speech was to demand a special joint session of Congress
to end Marijuana Prohibition and allow immediate,
unlimited, untaxed, unregulated "self cultivation" by
all adult Americans over the age of 18.
Two versions of the above
petition are now available and will be circulated for
the next 12 months in order to collect a million
signatures and, in the process, spread the word about
our immediate solution for achieving Marijuana
Re-Legalization throughout the United States.
The online version sends
letters to both Obama and your Congressional
Representatives, based on your zip code. It takes
less than a minute to sign the online version.

One final thought. With
each passing day Americans are getting arrested and
Mexicans are getting murdered. And all of this is
happening because the government will not let us simply
"grow our own." Without even collecting a dime of
taxes, from implementing MERP, 27 Billion dollars in
Mexican Drug Cartel profits will stay in the United
States creating jobs and generating tax revenue for
Federal State and local governments.
The other day I was on Casper
Leitch's show "Time for Hemp." Kiddingly he said
"You know what is wrong with the MERP Model? It
makes too much sense."
Casper is absolutely spot on
with that comment. But I have to tell you
something. This country is in dire trouble right
now. And if we don't start making sensible demands
of our government immediately, we will all suffer.
So please try to wrap your
minds around this.
Should we succeed in this
effort every American Citizen will be able to "grow
their own" Cannabis legally, the day after Congress
completes the actions specified in the petition.
And Agricultural and Industrial applications of Cannabis
will also be able to move forward at this time.
Jack Herer is still in serious condition from his recent
heart attack suffered at HempStalk on September 12th.
What better way to honor his decades, of spreading the
word about Hemp, than to make his dream a reality while
he is still alive. I think this is the very least
that we can do for Jack.
So please take a minute to sign
the petition. Take another minute to print off a
few petitions to circulate through friends, clubs and
other gatherings. Let's get this done so that we
can begin to address other serious problems that are
currently plaguing our country. And the more
effort we put in individually, the quicker we will be
able to "grow our own," free from any encumbrances of
government interference.
