On May 3rd, 2008, I intend to announce my write-in Presidential run at
the Detroit "Global Marijuana March." During my brief speech I
intend to discuss my model for Marijuana Re-Legalization, (known as
"Merp") which is part of a much larger agenda that is known as the "New
Agenda for America."

As the unholy trinity of Government, Business and Media continue to
force a "race to the bottom" perhaps it is time to consider the
collateral damage: our health.
PBS has just started a series, "Unnatural Causes - Is Inequality Making
Us Sick?," which gives startling revelations about how the perusal of
Free Trade Agreements (e.g., Multi-National Corporate Trade Agreements)
is literally destroying the health of the America People.
Here's some back ground and a short video excerpt:
"We produced UNNATURAL CAUSES to draw attention to the root causes
of health and illness and to help reframe the debate about health in
America. Economic and racial inequality are not abstract concepts but
hospitalize and kill even more people than cigarettes. The wages and
benefits we're paid, the neighborhoods we live in, the schools we
attend, our access to resources and even our tax policies are health
issues every bit as critical as diet, smoking and exercise.
The unequal distribution of these social conditions - and their health
consequences - are not natural or inevitable. They are the result of
choices that we as a community, as states, and as a nation have made,
and can make differently. Other nations already have, and they live
longer, healthier lives as a result.
We hope that UNNATURAL CAUSES and its companion tools will help you work
towards better health by bringing into view how economic justice, racial
equality and caring communities may be the best medicines of all."
I've featured some of my
acoustic music
from time to time but have yet to put forth any of my other
compositions. Soon I will be releasing a "Raw" version of the
"Gnostic" music project that
will feature about half of the compositions that will appear on the
final CD. You might say it is something
like the Beatles "Anthology" project in reverse (minus the talent) . . .
as they released early versions of their compositions after selling
their CD rights to Michael Jackson. I, on the other hand, am
releasing the early version first, because the final versions simply
aren't completed.
"Gnostic" is philosophically parallel to the
"New Agenda for America" in many ways. There is the "Hemp
Song" which strongly advocates for the legalization of
Marijuana. "I Know What You Want George" is a rocker
which criticizes George Bush's fascist tendencies.

Farm" is an instrumental homage to the massacre at that
occurred at "Rainbow Farm" the week before 911. If I ever
get out lecturing this year I may make an attempt to perform some
acoustic versions of some of the songs. At any rate I hope to have
the preliminary CD, "Gnostic: Raw," available within by the end of
March.
