"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, (i.e., the "business cycle") the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Meet New Age Citizen's Editor, Bruce W. Cain, at the Global Marijuana March on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 in Detroit

On May 3rd, 2008, I intend to announce my write-in Presidential run at the Detroit "Global Marijuana March."

During my brief speech I intend to discuss my model for Marijuana Re-Legalization, (known as "Merp") which is part of a much larger agenda that is known as the "New Agenda for America."  For more information on the Detroit "Global Marijuana March" please check out the following link:

AMERICA IS TYRANNY - George Carlin

Commentary: Bruce Cain to Announce Presidential "Write-In" Candidacy at Detroit's Global Marijuana March on May 3rd, 2008

I am asking the "grass roots" Re-Legalization Movement, including all 2008 Global Marijuana March organizers, to support my candidacy in order to put an immediate end to Marijuana Prohibition in the United States and throughout the world.

If elected I would grant clemency to all non-violent Marijuana offenders and pressure Congress to completely remove Marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act (1970). That would effectively end Marijuana Prohibition in the United States. I would follow this up by cutting off all UN funding unless and until they also endorse the Re-Legalization of Marijuana throughout the planet by revising all charters and agreements concerning Cannabis. It is high time we got beyond the "Incrementalism" (e.g., Medical Marijuana for some) that will never allow us to reach our goal of Legal Marijuana for all Adults throughout Planet Earth.

70 years of Marijuana Prohibition is 70 years too long! Please help me make a difference in 2008.

Marijuana Prohibition has gone on 70 years too long. I, Bruce Cain, have been active in the Drug Reform movement for over 20 years now and I have had enough.

I have seen first hand how the "moneyed" organizations (MPP, DPA etc.) have largely ignored what the "grass root" activists have always wanted: Legal Marijuana for adults. I have also witnessed the incredible, but diffuse, efforts of the "grass root" movement which has been significantly compromised by lack of operating revenue.

Nothing exemplifies the different agendas of the "moneyed" Vs "grass roots" activists than the murder of Tom Crosslin at Rainbow Farm (Jones, Michigan) one week before "911" (09/11/2001). Around that time we had collected over 270,000, of a needed 450,000 signatures, to put a true "legalization" initiative on the Michigan ballot. I contacted Ethan Nadleman, of the Drug Policy Alliance, in order to secure money for professional canvassers in order to collect the remaining signatures before the deadline. Nadleman refused to put me in contact with any of the major financiers of the "moneyed" organizations and the initiative never made the ballot. Beyond Nadleman's refusal I am convinced that Bush had Tom Crosslin murdered because his "Rainbow Farm" had become a major organizing center for the Re-Legalization effort. It had succeeded in attracting the luminaries of the movement -- Jack Herer, Gatewood Galbraith etc. -- and was instrumental in the organizational efforts for the 2001 initiative.

The sad truth is that all 3 Presidential candidates will continue to vilify Marijuana. At best they will continue the path of "unnecessary Incrementalism" that will get us nowhere. But more than likely they will continue to support Marijuana Prohibition. This is because they are being funded by trial lawyers, pharmaceutical interests and other groups that continue to profit at the expense of Americans whose crime is merely to prefer Marijuana over legal but much more dangerous drugs: alcohol, nicotine, anti-depressants etc. Unfortunately money doesn't just talk: it screams for the compliance of its puppets: Clinton, Obama and McCain.

On May 3rd, 2008, I intend to announce my write-in Presidential run at the Detroit "Global Marijuana March."  During my brief speech I intend to discuss my model for Marijuana Re-Legalization, (known as "Merp") which is part of a much larger agenda that is known as the "New Agenda for America."  For more information on the Detroit "Global Marijuana March" please check out the following link:

Now, just so you don't think I'm completely nuts, let me make it clear that I don't really think I have a "snow-balls chance in hell" of becoming President.  On the other hand I am quite certain that my agenda -- the "New Agenda for America" -- shows that I am better suited to represent the dreams of the American people than the 3 unfortunately "likely" candidates: McCain, Obama and Clinton.  But, with a little bit of luck, I do think we -- meaning us collectively -- could actually precipitate discussion about the real issues and the fact that none of the "likely candidates" represent the will of the average American citizen.

The "New Agenda for America" begs for answers to the following questions and much more:

* Why does Congress allow more Legal/Illegal Immigration when Americans continue to loose their jobs, their homes and their place in the "American Dream?"

* Since we are already experiencing water shortages, throughout the United States, how is it that we are going to accommodate the 200 million additional Legal/Illegal immigrants that are expected to migrate into the US over the next 100 years?

* Why did it only take 13 years to realize Alcohol Prohibition didn't make sense, yet Congress won't allow American Adult Citizens access to Marijuana after 70 years of Marijuana Prohibition?

At any rate we have 6 months, before the November Presidential Election.  Let us take this time to show our Corporate Traitors (e.g., Congressmen)  that we are not merely "bitter" but extremely angry at their consistent disregard for the people they are supposed to represent.  We've had more than enough!

Understanding What is Really at Stake April 21, When Bush Meets in New Orleans to Discuss the NORTH AMERICAN UNION: Your Future!!!

A Big Easy North American Union

On Monday April 21st President Bush will be meeting with leaders of Mexico and Canada to further discuss the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), also known as the North American Union (NAU).  As Congresswomen Kaptor notes, in the video below, the NAU is being promoted by Multi-National Corporations (e.g., Ford, GM, GE etc.) and will ultimately decimate the American working class.

The "New Agenda for America" would stop the Globalists dead in their tracks: preventing the implementation of the "North American Union" and what will follow.  You must watch the following video to understand that your very future, and that of your children, is at stake.  We need a mass demonstration before the November Presidential election to bring attention to this act of high treason.

But the fact of the matter is that this agenda is moving forward and will most definitely compromise the liberties and livelihoods of American workers.  We must not allow these globalists to move forward with this agenda.

North American Union Traitors Include Chertoff, Rice, Bush

Bush Wipes His Ass With the US Constitution at North American Union Meeting in New Orleans (04/21/2008)

Lou Dobbs - New Orleans NAU Talks (04/21/2008)

Representative Marcy Kaptur (D, Ohio) nailed the Constitutional problem with the North American Union on Lou Dobb's yesterday (04/22/08) when she said the following:

"This is another example on the trade-making front where the executive branch goes beyond its constitutionally authorized powers and doesn't want to inform the congress, which has the key trade-making authorities under the constitution."

By ignoring the dictates of the US Constitution Bush essentially wiped his ass with the US Constitution at the North American Union Summit in New Orleans yesterday (04/21/08).  And Congress -- both House and Senate -- has done the same thing by allowing the executive branch to subvert their authority in this matter.

What we are witnessing is the subversion of the US Constitution by Global Economic interests.  Like Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" they are the power that controls all 3 "rings" of Social Control in this country and throughout the globe.  And those 3 rings can be defined as the Media, the Government and Big Business.  Through tax free foundations and K-Street Lobbyists they have slowly gained controlled all 3 of these rings of social control over the past century.

Unfortunately what we are looking at now is what Alex Jones and others refer to as the Endgame -- the phase where our Constitution is trashed, our liberties are destroyed and our future is relegated to a state of global slavery.  Making matters worse is the fact that all 3 "likely" Presidential Candidates are basically in on the game.  All 3 will most certainly grant amnesty to the 12 to 30 million Illegal Aliens that have subverted our laws, as soon as a they enter the doors of the Whitehouse in 2009.

On May 3rd, 2008 I will be announcing my "write-in" candidacy for President of the United States at the Global Marijuana March in Detroit, Michigan.   I have no realistic expectation to win.  But what I really want to achieve is support for a set of policy planks that I feel are needed by the American People at this time of great uncertainty in this country.  These 9 initial planks are available for your consideration at my website:

www.NewAgeCitizen.com

All 9 planks are intended to put the interests of the Legal Citizens of the United States first for a change.  They include Legal Marijuana for Adult Americans and a 20-year moratorium on all immigration into the United States.  Of course what I like most about the "New Agenda for America" is the fact that, while most Americans support most of the planks, the 3 Presidential Candidates support none of them.  To me this is the ultimate indictment of the US political system as it proves that we are no longer a government "by, for and of the American People."  Instead we have become a nation ruled by Global Corporations for the benefit of the few.  Our Presidential Candidate have becoming nothing more than Corporate whores.

Additional information of the "New Agenda for America" and the "Global Marijuana March" are available at my website.  I have also produced 2 additional videos that detail my justification for a moratorium on immigration and the Re-Legalization of Marijuana for adult Americans.  You will also find 2 graphics, regarding my Presidency and the "New Agenda for America" that you can imbed on you face book pages, or websites, to help make this campaign go viral in the following months.

Please help me in my efforts to reclaim this republic from the clutches of these Global Corporations by sharing the ideas of the "New Agenda for America" with your friends.

Lou Dobbs - New Orleans NAU Transcript (04/21/2008)

Lou Dobbs - New Orleans NAU Transcript (04/21/2008)
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0804/21/ldt.01.html

DOBBS: President Bush is in New Orleans tonight. He's there in a summit meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Those three leaders are expected to talk about NAFTA, so-called free trade among the three nations. Ed Henry is traveling with the president tonight, and he is, of course, in New Orleans with him.

Ed, tell us all about it.

ED HENRY, CNN WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: Well, Lou, as host, the president got to choose the city. He chose New Orleans because he wanted to highlight it as a comeback city and, in fact, today he appeared with President Calderon, reopening the Mexican Consulate here that had been closed for some six years.

Then the two leaders emerged from a closed-door meeting to talk of trade, both saying that it's time basically for the U.S. Congress to stop stalling the Colombian trade deal. But also Mr. Bush used this as an occasion to stand up and defend NAFTA, which as you know is under assault right now on the presidential campaign trail for not living up to its hype.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: When you and I grew up, in our respective countries, the border region of Mexico and the United States was very poor. And today when you go down there, there's prosperity on both sides of the border. A lot of that has to do with trade. Our trade has tripled, and our economies have grown, and this has been a very positive aspect for both our countries.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HENRY: While selling trade, Mr. Bush will not be issuing a new push for comprehensive immigration reform. Officials saying they realize that basically there's no point in pushing something that is hopelessly stalled on Capitol Hill. Also they don't want to push it at a time when John McCain, the Republican presumptive presidential nominee, is trying to woo conservatives. President Calderon, however, decided to bring up what he called comprehensive immigration reform, saying he realizes the presidential election year, so it's not going to happen this year, but he said he hopes the U.S. government deals with it next year by bringing, quote, "respect and responsibility to the process". Lou?

DOBBS: Did President Calderon talk about in any way taking responsibility for the people that he is effectively ushering out of his country because they're too poorly educated, they lack the skills, and are simply so impoverished that they have to flee the country and that -- did he take any responsibility as he put it himself?

HENRY: He did not appear to take any responsibility in his own remarks. Interesting President Bush also raised the issue of drug smuggling across the border and that's another issue obviously the Mexican government is going to have to deal with, Lou.

DOBBS: Well, we say that they're going to have to deal with it. But Mexico remains the largest source of methamphetamines, cocaine, heroin and marijuana into the United States and that president you're reporting on has allowed that trade to go with his blessings because he's refused to secure that border. Thank you very much, Ed Henry.

Protesters tonight are gathered there in New Orleans. They're voicing outrage over the so-called security and prosperity partnership of North America known as well the North American Union. Critics say these three leaders are negotiating that agreement in secret. Bill Tucker has our report from New Orleans.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We will exercise our Second Amendment, against any and all who will...

TUCKER (voice-over): There is some unease in some quarters over what the administration calls the Security and Prosperity Partnership, the SPP. The meetings between the United States, Canada and Mexico are not secret. The discussions are. And there's anger over it, some, labor leaders.

DAVE COLES, ENERGY & PAPERWORKERS UNION OF CANADA: This is about corporate rule, not corporate America, corporate world taking over the responsibilities that belong to the legislatures and the parliaments and the governments of our country.

GARY BEEVERS, UNITED STEELWORKERS OF AMERICA: This is all being done behind closed doors with no transparency whatsoever and it shouldn't be secret in this country. It shouldn't be secret in Canada, and it shouldn't be secret in Mexico.

TUCKER: But it is. Even the human rights group, Amnesty International sent an open letter to the leaders saying, quote, "the secrecy and lack of accountability that has marked the development of SPP leave insufficient room for informed involvement of civil society".

The Bush administration denies any secrecy about the talks that it says are to address common security concerns and facilitate trade and travel. On its Web site, spp.gov, it dismisses criticism that there is no oversight of SPP by Congress, as, quote, "a myth". Some in Congress find that laughable.

REP. MARCY KAPTUR (D), OHIO: There have been no hearings on the SPP negotiations and transactions. In fact, I signed a letter with parliamentarians from Canada, Mexico and the United States, asking that these discussions not proceed forward until the legislative bodies of all three countries are informed as to what's going on. TUCKER: Kaptur and more than a dozen other representatives sent a letter to President Bush asking that the talks be stopped. Some in Canada agree. Maude Barlow heads a public advocacy group.

MAUDE BARLOW, COUNCIL OF CANADIANS: This is profoundly anti- Democratic. Decisions are being made at these committees almost as if it's sort of a treaty outside of any democratic process around areas that will affect all of our lives. So, we are here. We're not going away and we think that...

(END VIDEOTAPE)

TUCKER: And these are extensive talks, Lou. They are wide ranging, covering anything from environmental concerns to labor conditions, to regulatory issues. Critics say all of this secrecy amounts to what they call a full assault on the sovereignty of the United States. Lou?

DOBBS: As well as the sovereignty of Canada and Mexico, for that matter.

TUCKER: True.

DOBBS: You know, I just can't think of how in the world this administration could rationalize these meetings, take one more shot if you will, here, Bill, and tell us what this White House of ours -- I'll use the term loosely -- is saying.

TUCKER: It's not a secret. We have a Web site. You can go and see what we're talking about.

(CROSSTALK)

DOBBS: Let me try this again.

TUCKER: There's no need...

(CROSSTALK)

DOBBS: Let me try this again.

TUCKER: OK.

DOBBS: What are they saying is being discussed...

TUCKER: Trade issues, facilitating the trade in the movement of people back and forth between the borders, Lou. That's the official word on what's being discussed.

DOBBS: And that's the sum total of what they will divulge?

TUCKER: That's about -- puts it all together in one nice little package, Lou.

DOBBS: That's incredible. And to think that, you know, this is what's great. This country has come to a point where we're accepting this kind of nonsense from this kind of administration sitting in the White House that belongs to the American people after all, or at least it used to. Thank you very much, Bill Tucker, from New Orleans.

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur will be here later. We'll be discussing the North American Summit, and the negotiations and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, which is to lead to, of course, the North American Union. This is also the subject of our poll tonight.

Interview with Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur over the NAU/SPP

DOBBS: Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur is calling on President Bush to halt negotiations of the so-called security and prosperity partnership until congress is told just what in the world this government is doing. Congresswoman Kaptur joins me tonight from her home district in Toledo, Ohio.

Congresswoman, as always, great to have you here.

REP. MARCY KAPTUR (D), OHIO: Thank you.

DOBBS: Why is the administration not responding to you and to the calls from others to explain exactly what they're doing?

KAPTUR: Well, the executive branch really thinks that they can run everything and they like to ignore congress. This is another example on the trade-making front where the executive branch goes beyond its constitutionally authorized powers and doesn't want to inform the congress, which has the key trade-making authorities under the constitution.

This is kind of a follow-on to NAFTA, Lou, called the SPP, and that's what this meeting down in Louisiana's all about. I think it's the third meeting they've had in four years.

DOBBS: Right, right. And the idea that they would not be responsive to you, is your -- is the leadership of the house, Speaker Pelosi, in the senate, Senator Reid, are they responsive and demanding of their prerogatives on the issue of -- of this agreement, security and prosperity partnership, so-called, which is the foundation for a North American union?

KAPTUR: Well, you know what, they've been focusing on of late is Colombia, the free trade agreement with Colombia. The issue of mortgage foreclosures, the additional funds that are being asked for the war in Iraq. There are on lot of other issues that have come forward, and so this is kind of sliding by I think without a lot of attention.

DOBBS: Well, have you brought to it their attention?

KAPTUR: We are --

DOBBS: I'm sorry, go ahead.

KAPTUR: What I was going to say is that we are doing everything we can to bring it to their attention. The respective committees that should be holding hearings and are not, and I think just other issues have taken precedence.

DOBBS: Well, at this point it's pretty clear that we have a lame-duck president who is basically going to tell you people to go exactly where he's been telling you to go for some time and can do so without real consequence because he's only got another, what, about seven months in office. It seems your leadership should be more responsive to you on this issue. How concerned are you about this -- this North American union prospect?

KAPTUR: I'm very concerned about it because just this year, this past year, we had a $76 billion trade deficit with Mexico. We were told that after NAFTA passed, we would have more of our exports going down there. We've been exporting our jobs and importing goods from there. And unfortunately importing a lot of workers, who were thrown out of work down there and farmers when were thrown out of work on their land.

DOBBS: Right.

KAPTUR: So NAFTA's really hurt us a great deal as you know and the SPP we believe to be an expansion of that done on the executive side with no congressional oversight helping to push the continent toward this NAFTA highway, the superhighway that they want to bring up through Texas, through the center part of the country and Canada.

DOBBS: The transatlantic corridor, right?

KAPTUR: There have been -- we were successful in passing an amendment in the house to prevent that from happening. They didn't pass it in the senate. And it passed by quite a wide margin, so, I think congress' focus, that particular vote, but the administration then keeps negotiating behind closed doors.

DOBBS: All right. Well, as soon as they can find someone not to negotiate with, say, Senator Harry Reid in the senate, perhaps it will be a more propitious outcome for all of us. Marcy Kaptur, congresswoman from Ohio, we thank you very much for being with us. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur.

KAPTUR: Thank you. Thank you.

The Destruction of LA by Illegal Immigrants

DOBBS: Academic and political elites refuse to make a distinction between legal and illegal immigrants as they analyze what is happening in this country, security of our borders, and, of course, immigration policy. Now, there's a compelling new study that also fails to differentiate between legal and illegal immigrants, but does demonstrate that we are not successfully integrating immigrants into our society. Casey Wian has our report.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

CASEY WIAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): More than three million Los Angeles county residents, a third of the population, are immigrants. And according to the Nonpartisan Migration Policy Institute, government policies have failed to integrate these L.A. newcomers into American society. And that could foreshadow what happens throughout the United States.

For example, 46 percent of L.A.'s workforce is foreign born, while more than one in five immigrants live in poverty. Forty percent of Los Angeles school students and a third of adults are English language learners, amazingly four out of every five elementary schoolchildren still learning English were born in the U.S. The study blasts the federal government for failing to develop a national policy on integrating immigrants.

MICHAEL FIX, MIGRATION POLICY INSTITUTE: Are we putting too much at risk by letting market forces take their course? What we have to do is start to invest more. We've had a great return on a very small investment so far historically and the question is can we afford to spend so little as we go forward with these fairly significant numbers of newcomers and of people who don't speak English particularly well given the demands of the economy.

WIAN: The study also found integration barriers are even larger for families headed by what it called unauthorized parents. One group advocating reduced immigration to the United States criticized the study for blurring the lines between legal and illegal immigrants, but agreed with its main conclusion.

RICK OLTMAN, CALIFORNIANS FOR POP. STABILIZATION: One of the comments that referred to integration of immigrants as an afterthought. In fact, that's not accurate. There's no thought to integrating any of these immigrants. It's simply to grab the cheap labor as quickly as you possibly can to maximize your profit. We agree immigrants should be integrated into the society and welcomed.

WIAN: The study made no recommendations on what to do with illegal immigrants in the United States, variously estimated at anywhere between 12 million to 20 million people.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

WIAN: But it does make the familiar argument that demographic trends will require more immigrant labor in the future in the United States to remain economically competitive.

Lou?

LOU DOBBS, CNN ANCHOR: Why no distinction between legal and illegal immigrants?

WIAN: Well, they did make -- the study did make a distinction in part by saying that illegal immigrants have a much more difficult time integrating into American society than legal --

DOBBS: Well, if they acknowledge that there is such a thing as an illegal immigrant, why in the world, and if there is somewhere between 12 million and 20 million of them, you would think that the least -- the least challenged intellect in academia would understand it would be important to deal with a number of them and the services that would be required and the potential that they would represent.

WIAN: Yeah, we asked them why they didn't take a position. They mentioned the failure of comprehensive immigration reform as they called it, why they didn't take a position on that. They said that they didn't want to get involved in that kind of a political issue. They wanted to just basically put out the framework, the issues that are there out, the numbers and the scope and the size of this problem so policy makers can actually make rational, informed decisions.

DOBBS: They can't even begin to until they understand the dimension of the problem.

WIAN: Yeah, and I think that this report actually lays it out quite starkly. For example, it says that, to teach English to all of the immigrants, both legal and illegal, in the United States, to get them up to acceptable level of English proficiency would take 600 million man-hours of teaching, Lou, so that really shows the staggering size of this problem.

DOBBS: Yes, it does. But it doesn't demonstrate to the degree to which the social services are being provided are adequate for those who are here legally as opposed to those services that would be wanting for those who are here illegally.

You don't have to take one side of an argument to be concerned by both aspects of that discussion and the parameters of the problem.

But, you know, there's so much political correctness and hidebound orthodoxy that has captured academia in this country, we're probably very good to have this beginning to this rudimentary beginning to a study.

Thank you very much, Casey, Casey Wian.

Let's take a look at some of your thoughts.

Susan in Texas said, "Dear Lou, count me in as a new independent voter. I have called myself a Democrat for 33 years but I can no longer belong to the Democratic Party after this primary! The pitiful way they have been trying to push Hillary Clinton out before the process is over is disgusting."

Mike in Arizona said, "Dear Lou, that freshman senator from Illinois clearly just doesn't get it. I'm a 40 year old, hard working, gun toting, Jesus loving American. He needs to go back to the Senate, serve his constituency and learn more about the American people before he attempts to represent all of us to the world."

We'll have more of your thoughts here later on the broadcast. They get better and better.

And please join me on the radio each Monday through Friday afternoon, for the LOU DOBBS SHOW. Go to LouDobbs.com to find local listings for THE LOU DOBBS SHOW on the radio.

And coming up here next, troubling charges of the dangerous conspiracy, endangering the lives of law enforcement officers in this country and rising outrage over the Bush administration's efforts to create a North American union, cramming it down the throats of the American people and our congress. A leading congressional critic is Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur.

"Ours can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets advance the security and prosperity of all."

Daniel Taylor Old-Thinker News Tuesday, April 15, 2008

Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has openly declared his supportive stance on the Security and Prosperity Partnership in a March 2008 speech to the Los Angeles World Affairs Council.

An article by Kat McConnell on The Conservative Voice website comments on McCain's statements,

"McCain's World Affairs speech must rightfully be considered his "coming out" speech in which he unflinchingly revealed his true globalist nature and his mission as a foot soldier in the New World Order."

McCain's March 2008 World Affairs Council speech stated in part,

"With globalization, our hemisphere has grown closer, more integrated, and more interdependent. Latin America today is increasingly vital to the fortunes of the United States. Americans north and south share a common geography and a common destiny. The countries of Latin America are the natural partners of the United States, and our northern neighbor Canada.

Relations with our southern neighbors must be governed by mutual respect, not by an imperial impulse or by anti-American demagoguery. The promise of North, Central, and South American life is too great for that. I believe the Americas can and must be the model for a new twenty-first century relationship between North and South. Ours can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets advance the security and prosperity of all."

John McCain's globalist stance also came to light in a speech he gave to the Hoover Institution. A transcript for this speech is carried on the Council on Foreign Relations website. Going further than just a more "integrated" and "interdependent" North America, McCain stated in the May 2007 speech that he desires a "...worldwide League of Democracies" that would form an "...international order of peace based on freedom." The new league would accompany the United Nations. He stated,

"This League of Democracies would not supplant the United Nations or other international organizations. It would complement them. But it would be the one organization where the world's democracies could come together to discuss problems and solutions on the basis of shared principles and a common vision of the future. If I am elected president, I will call a summit of the world's democracies in my first year to seek the views of my democratic counterparts and begin exploring the practical steps necessary to realize this vision."

A McCain presidency will surely bring more globalist policy and a further move towards North American Integration and world governance. These policies are becoming increasingly unpopular, however. Globalist think tanks have admitted that the United States remains the largest obstacle to building a North American Community. Will a new president succeed in selling these plans to America?

Your Government is Robbing You Blind

How do you explain the fact that both grains and oil have increased nearly 80% in the last few years?  Why did Bush issue an order to stop reporting on the money supply in the last year (e.g., the M3 data)?  It is because the globalists have decided to pull the rug out from under the American working class by devaluing the dollar, offshoring our industrial base and destroying our base of "living wage" jobs.  The following video puts it all together.  Enjoy! Unnatural Causes - Is Inequality Making Us Sick?

As the unholy trinity of Government, Business and Media continue to force a "race to the bottom" perhaps it is time to consider the collateral damage: our health.

PBS has just started a series, "Unnatural Causes - Is Inequality Making Us Sick?," which gives startling revelations about how the perusal of Free Trade Agreements (e.g., Multi-National Corporate Trade Agreements) is literally destroying the health of the America People.

Here's some back ground and a short video excerpt:

"We produced UNNATURAL CAUSES to draw attention to the root causes of health and illness and to help reframe the debate about health in America. Economic and racial inequality are not abstract concepts but hospitalize and kill even more people than cigarettes. The wages and benefits we're paid, the neighborhoods we live in, the schools we attend, our access to resources and even our tax policies are health issues every bit as critical as diet, smoking and exercise.

The unequal distribution of these social conditions - and their health consequences - are not natural or inevitable. They are the result of choices that we as a community, as states, and as a nation have made, and can make differently. Other nations already have, and they live longer, healthier lives as a result.

We hope that UNNATURAL CAUSES and its companion tools will help you work towards better health by bringing into view how economic justice, racial equality and caring communities may be the best medicines of all."

A Tale of Two Factory Shutdowns
BY JAMES RUTENBECK • April 18, 2008
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080418/OPINION02/804180336/1068/OPINION

I traveled to Greenville, Mich., in the wake of the shutdown of North America's largest refrigerator factory to shoot an episode for a documentary film series on what makes us healthy -- or sick.

The Greenville plant was heading to Juarez, Mexico, where it would pay workers $1.60 an hour plus bus fare and lunch. It was owned by the Swedish company Electrolux, which had also just shut down a factory in Västervik, Sweden, shifting production to Hungary.

The two situations taught us a lot about how social policies affect health.

We arrived to find many of the Greenville workers still in shock, scraping by on unemployment benefits that paid half their wages and a few months severance pay. When that ran out, survival was anyone's guess.

Worried about their bills, their mortgages, their futures, some couldn't sleep; others medicated psychic wounds with carbohydrates or alcohol.

Dr. Jeffrey Stowitts was prescribing antidepressant samples at the Greenville Family Care Center to an expanding clientele in desperate need but short on cash. One-quarter of his patients were using antidepressants.

Social worker Dan Ellison was working overtime. A year after the shutdown, the local hospital's caseload of depression, alcoholism and domestic abuse had tripled. Emergency room visits and stress-related illnesses soared.

Dr. Harvey Brenner of Johns Hopkins University predicts a rise in heart disease and mortality in the Greenville area that will lead to 134 "excess" deaths over the decade. That amounts to deaths that would not occur if Electrolux had not shut down.

Shift screens to Västervik, Sweden, an industrial town south of Stockholm. I was taken aback by the pristine appeal. Where was the grit of American industrial cities?

But I was more surprised when we met laid-off workers like Peter Stenberg, who had put in 21 years at Electrolux. Unlike his Greenville counterparts, Peter w

sn't stressed out, he didn't turn to drink, and he wasn't worried about losing his home.

Peter was using the layoff to go to college. He'd continue to receive 80% of his former salary as long as he was in school. From preschool to college is free for all Swedes. They are guaranteed generous paid leave, including five-week vacations and 16-months leave for new parents -- mothers or fathers. Peter wasn't worried about losing his health care or pension. Both are guaranteed for life.

Electrolux paid $3 million in reparations to Västervik to help stimulate new businesses. The city of Greenville received nothing.

Health equity analyst Richard Hofrichter characterizes policies that protect families and communities from the chaos imposed by globalization and free markets as strengthening our "social immune system."

These social policies seem to be working in Sweden, where people live almost three years longer than we do, and with less chronic illness.

Life expectancy in the United States now ranks 29th in the world, down from 14th in 1980. The Swedes rank sixth. Among rich nations, America suffers the worst health outcomes and the greatest inequality. The top 1% owns as much wealth as the bottom 90% of us combined.

When I told Peter Stenberg and his former coworkers about Greenville, they were incredulous. "What happens to a town like that? What happens to those people? It's no wonder people feel sick," they refrained.

Swedes pay more in taxes to ensure that security and resources like good schools are available to all, not just the affluent. Economist Jared Bernstein calls these policies WITT: We're In This Together. In contrast, he terms the United States a YoYo society: You're On Your Own.

Comparing Greenville with Västervik, the consequences for health seem pretty clear.

SEND THIS TO ALL YOU KNOW. THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE UNITED STATES NEEDS TO KNOW THIS INFORMATION, UNLESS THEY DON'T MIND SHARING THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY WITH FOREIGN WORKERS who didn't pay in a dime.

LET US SHOW OUR LEADERS IN WASHINGTON "PEOPLE POWER" AND THE POWER OF THE INTERNET. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRAT OR INDEPENDENT! KEEP IT GOING!!!!

SOCIAL SECURITY:
(This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.)
Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years. Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.
You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.
In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.
For all practical purposes their plan works like this:
When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.
Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments.. For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives.
This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.
Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives.
Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA... ZILCH... ZERO!!!

This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds; "OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK "!
From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer). We can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after retirement. Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits!
Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.
That change would be to: Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us Then sit back... And see how fast they would fix it.
If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.
How many people CAN you send this to?

Better yet How many people WILL you send this to?

Bill Gates: Traitor to US Workers
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0804/07/ldt.01.html

Comment:
The US economy has lost over 200,000 jobs since the beginning of the year. There are only about 120,000 US tech jobs being created each year which only allow employment for about 1/3rd of those that graduate.  And this does not even begin to consider all of the tech workers that have been sent to the welfare lines since the "Tech Bubble" burst in early 2000.   So then why does Clinton, Obama, McCain, Congress, Corporate America and Billy Boy Gates continue to insist on bringing in more H1-B's?  As an emergency measure I am calling on all activists to support my write-in candidacy for President so that I can implement the "New Agenda for America" and reestablish this republic to what our Founding Fathers originally envisioned.

In the meantime you can tell DHS how disgusted you are with their decision to extend H1-B stays in the United States at the following link:

DOBBS: Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, he's been calling for more foreign workers in this country for some time. Now Bill Gates says the United States is in decline and that a wealthy China in his words is a very good thing. Gates told the meeting of the Inter American Devilment Bank in Miami, "If you care about the human condition, then a richer China is better." But Gates then said, "Economic and social advances in the rest of the world would erode U.S. dominance and he thinks that's a good thing."

Businesses looking to hire cheap labor today celebrated a victory handed to them by the Bush administration, of course. The Department of Homeland Security is now changing the rules to extend visa states to technology students. The extended stays will allow foreign students a better chance of being hired here at a time when more and more Americans are out of work. It will give as a matter of fact them more than two years to find work.

Bill Tucker has our report.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

BILL TUCKER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Microsoft's Bill Gates wasn't shy making his wishes known to congress last month.

BILL GATES, MICROSOFT CHAIRMAN: There are a number of steps that congress and the white house should take to address this problem including extending the period that foreign students can work here after graduation.

TUCKER: He got his wish. The Department of Homeland Security has now announced new rules that allow foreign students graduating with degrees in science, technology, engineering and math to stay and work for 2 1/2 years after graduation. It's a move that angered Senator Charles Grassley who calls it "Corporate America's latest attempt to get around the H-1B program." Critics of the program argue that such policies undercut American graduates in those fields.

PAUL ALAMEDA, AFL-CIO: The projection is the growth in this industry is about 120,000 jobs per year and this is in the high tech meaning math and science degrees. And we're graduating in excess of 300,000 with bachelors, masters and PhD's from United States universities.

TUCKER: Despite there been apparent oversupply, corporate America continues to lobby to expand the H-1B program. And one former programmer who now campaigns against the program, fears it's only a matter of time before Gates gets his other wish, that caps on the H-1B visas are abolished.

Music Project: Gnostic [Raw]

I've featured some of my acoustic music from time to time but have yet to put forth any of my other compositions.  Soon I will be releasing a "Raw" version of the "Gnostic" music project that will feature about half of the compositions that will appear on the final CD.  You might say it is something like the Beatles "Anthology" project in reverse (minus the talent) . . . as they released early versions of their compositions after selling their CD rights to Michael Jackson.  I, on the other hand, am releasing the early version first, because the final versions simply aren't completed.

"Gnostic" is philosophically parallel to the "New Agenda for America" in many ways.  There is the "Hemp Song" which strongly advocates for the legalization of Marijuana.  "I Know What You Want George" is a rocker which criticizes George Bush's fascist tendencies.

I know what you want George
I can hear your feet outside my door
I know what you want George
You’d like to make us your slaves forever more

But your emperors clothes have worn away
And all that’s left is a smarmy corporate whore

Your time is coming
And when the people wake they foil your plan
Your time is coming
And when we rise we’ll take our country back

‘Cus your emperor’s clothes have worn away
And the devil waves behind your back
["I Know What You Want George" by Bruce W. Cain]

"Rainbow Farm" is an instrumental homage to the massacre at that occurred at "Rainbow Farm" the week before 911.   If I ever get out lecturing this year I may make an attempt to perform some acoustic versions of some of the songs.  At any rate I hope to have the preliminary CD, "Gnostic: Raw," available within by the end of March.

Well that ends my housekeeping notes.  Hope you appreciate the reduction in the clutter.
