Editor, Bruce Cain, explains why Marijuana Prohibition is intellectually indefensible. Also explains the benefits of Legalizing which include granting universal access for Medical Users as well as robbing nearly 20 Billion dollars from Mexican Drug Cartels. That is 20 Billion a year that would generate tax revenue and create more jobs for American workers.
I am confident that, having read some of this pertinent background material, you will understand that New Age Citizen is not interested in either racism or xenophobia. We really want to leave the United States, and the rest of the planet, in better shape than we found it when we arrived. But to do this effectively we also need to understand things as they are and not how we would prefer these things to be.
Read my lips, supporters of Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants:
NO MORE IMMIGRATION: LEGAL OR ILLEGAL
It is not that we dislike immigrants. It is really about the fact that the boat, that we know as America, is already too full. In the long run the most compassionate thing we can do is set an example for the rest of the world by stabilizing and reducing our population.
And that example requires that we reduce our population so that we can live within the sustainable limits of our contiguous borders and the bounty that this finite land mass will allow. To do otherwise would be irresponsible.
We need to force the Mexican elite to start taking care of their people and not using the United States as a de facto Welfare Program which, by the way, is creating terrible hardships for American workers. We need to stop fueling our next adversary, China, by withdrawing our factories from their country and by penalizing them for stealing so much of our technology.
Of course my hope is that a stabilized global population will provide a better life for everyone. It is quite clear that continuing along, with the strategies of the NWO will only create increasing misery amongst all of the world's people.
But if you won't face these facts then, of course, go on believing that we (those that oppose further legal/illegal immigration) are all racists and xenophobes.
I find it interesting how you have NEVER answered the following question:
What is the optimum and maximum population that the United States can sustain?
Clue: we currently have between 300-320 million people living in the United States.
If you could only absorb the information in the following links I'm confident you will at least understand where I'm coming from. I'm not nearly optimistic enough to think it will change your point of view. But I do hold out hope.
Thursday, June 28th 2007, something quite remarkable happened. It was on this date that the Senate's Amnesty Bill -- sometimes referred to as the McCain/Kennedy Bill -- was defeated. During the morning hours there were so many activists, calling the Senate phone bank, that the system actually failed. This was a great day for "grass roots" activism and it appears that our collective efforts finally paid off. For the first time in decades our Senators listened to the rising anger from their intended constituents, the American people, and ignored the wishes of the Multi-National Corporate lobbyists.
Despite the manipulation of polling data the emerging truth is that the American people increasingly want severe restrictions on further Legal and Illegal immigration into the United States. There was actually a poignant moment during the Senate debate where Tancredo emphasized the people's wishes for restrictions on both Legal and Illegal immigration. It was followed by numerous Senator's who castigated Tancredo for even mentioning restrictions on Legal Immigration. Such actions only underline just how out of touch these elitist representatives have become. I talk to people from all walks of life and can tell you with certainty that the American people want both Legal and Illegal immigration stopped, or at least severely restricted.
Though all immigration restrictionists deserve praise for their actions two people need special commendation. Lou Dobb's deserves special praise for appraising the American public about immigration, the border, Ramos and Compeon as well as many other under reported issues, through his nightly show "Lou Dobbs Tonight." But the lesser known Roy Beck, NumbersUSA, also deserves special praise. It was his website that efficiently focused the energies of the activist community through directed faxes and phone calls throughout the Senate debate. I have to believe that the confluence of these two activists is what finally put the "fear of the American people" into ears of our Senators.
Unfortunately we can only look upon the Senate's Amnesty defeat as a small battle in a long war. What needs to occur now is a broadening of the debate to related issues such as:
* The North American Union * Rolling back both Legal and Illegal Immigration * Rolling back NAFTA * Rolling back the president's fast track authority * Ending the anchor baby program * Insuring good paying jobs for American workers * Developing an "airtight" system by which all companies will be scrutinized for illegal workers and visa overstays (also illegal workers, by the way). The current "pilot program" is not anything close to that system. * Making sure immigrants don't get better treatment than American workers * Making sure no more Iraqi refugees are allowed to immigrate into the United States * Boycotting Chinese made goods and the corporations that produce goods in China
At the same time we must be vigilant at attempts, by our federal legislators, to sneak immigration legislation through last minute amendments. Actually NumbersUSA has done a great job at tracking this legislative subterfuge in real time. I highly recommend that you get on their mailing list:
There is probably no simpler method for staying abreast of the chicanery of our federal legislators, than signing up with NumbersUSA. But this will not be sufficient if we hope to prevail on this issue of immigration. We must also alert the unwitting public as to the dire consequences that await, should the North American Union (NAU) ever become fully implemented. To accomplish this, future immigration containment strategies should emphasize the relationship between the NAU and various corporate sponsored immigration initiatives. American citizens must be convinced that the movement toward global governance will result in their impoverishment, as they are quickly displaced by a torrent of legal foreign elites.
But above all else we must expose what is really going on here.
(1) The corporations buy the politicians (2) The corporations then actually write the legislation (3) The corporations use their media conglomerates to manufacture consent (4) The corporation then take full advantage of the loopholes that they have incorporated into the legislation.
The following video illustrates the result of this process as it relates to immigration. In these video's you have an attorney lecturing to a group of American employers. In words that should make your blood boil he blurts out the following treasonous statement:
'Of course the reason we are here today is to avoid employing American workers.'
But think about it for a second. Is it just a coincidence that this attorney is lecturing these employers as to how they can screw their fellow American workers? Law firms are the flip side of the corporations. They write the loopholes into the legislation as agents of the corporations. Then the have seminars so they can educate the local employers in exercising those very loopholes. Meanwhile the public rarely has a clue as to what is truly being orchestrated behind the scenes. And Congress? Well, they are either complicit or they are clueless. In either case they are working against the interests of the American people and are in bad need of a new job.
Here are the video's:
For more information check out the Programmers Guild website which contributed extensively to both video's (above). Here you will find extensive material illustrating how our Congressional representatives are writing legislation which deny American workers jobs and favor the hiring of foreign workers. These Congressmen are truly traitors and the issue of immigration is but one of many issues where this claim can be made. It should be no surprise that the approval rate of Congress is at an abysmal 14 percent:
If you are interested in discussing this feel free to join the new "New Age Citizen" Yahoo Group.
Join our NewAgeCitizen Yahoo Group and let us know if Lou Dobbs should support Marijuana Legalization in order to rob profits from Mexican Drug Smugglers
Lou Dobbs appears on our site and I'm sure we all see him as a primary spokesperson for Pro-Enforcement activists. But I think he is dead wrong in his support for Marijuana prohibition.
I believe Legalizing Marijuana, for adults only, would take nearly 10 Billion dollars from the Drug Smugglers: in California alone. Many Pro-Enforcement folk that I've talked to agree: at least 50%.
I would be interested in your views on this topic:
(1) Do you agree that Legalizing Marijuana could rob Illegal Mexican Drug Dealers of their profits?
(2) Do you think grass roots Immigration Pro-Enforcement folk should add Marijuana Re-Legalization to their agenda?
For more information on my proposed framework for Marijuana Re-Legalization see the MERP articles below:
I cannot tell you how many how many people have said that “a revolution is coming to America in our lifetime.” I have especially noticed this over the last year. Five years ago people were beginning to sense a change. But lately, what started as random noise is assembly itself into a building drum beat. I would much rather see a series of policy steps that might lift the burdens so many Americans are experiencing lately. Much of this burden is due to the shortsighted decisions of Multi-National Corporations that have willfully plotted to destroy the American working class. They have achieved this by essentially eliminating the livelihoods of American workers. Nearly 2.2 million American families (e.g., there are about 140 Million households in the US) stand to loose their homes in 2007 as their livelihoods have been sent oversees or displaced by imported foreign workers.
The first steps are pretty obvious: (1) repatriate the Illegal Immigrants AND those elites who remain here after their work/education Visas have expired; (2) develop a foolproof method for determining the citizenship of all American workers (e.g., Not RealID ; Not the “Pilot” program) so that non-citizens can no longer work here or receive any further benefits ; (3) focus the best of America’s brain trust towards a path to energy independence (4) stop any further colonization of the United States by stopping all further foreign ownership of American land, real estate and businesses.
We must once again become a country “for Americans and by Americans” while simultaneously seeking out solutions that might also benefit, empower and sustain the rest of the planet. While I may be thinking globally don't get too confused here. What we are seeking here is an alternative to the Globalization that is unfolding under the guise of "free trade agreements," multinational unions," and the global privatization of all lands, properties and liberties.
But these first steps will not be nearly enough. We must also rejuvenate the American working class that has been betrayed by Government, Business and the Media.
Cost of War in Iraq: Approximately 600 Billion [600,000,000,000] Cost of American Home: $200,000 Numbers of American Homes that could have been built if we didn’t go to war?
600,000,000,000 / 200,000 = 6,000,000 / 2 = 3,000,000 = 3 Million American Homes
George Washington once said that “you cannot have liberty without land.” What he meant was that citizens needed to be secure in their homes and their property -- that they needed to have full ownership of those homes in order to enjoy any real freedom. But this is fading fast as American workers are being forced to work for less and less: as more of their jobs are eliminated through technology or sent over to “slave wage” countries such as China and India by American Multi-Nationals (e.g., Ford, GM, GE etc.). In order to relieve these burdens I believe that the Federal Reserve (soon to become the People’s Reserve) should be forced to print the paper to pay off every mortgage in America: held by American citizens who were physically born in this country to other legal American citizens.
I know many are laughing at this notion. But consider a few simple facts:
* The total burden of US debt stands now at 45 TRILLION dollars. There is absolutely no way that this can ever be paid. Currently we are allowing the colonization of the United States in order to pay for this: something that will turn the “American working class” into an “American slave class.” If we allow legal immigration to continue, “Native Americans” (e.g., those born as legal citizens by legal citizens) will be increasingly displaced by rich foreigners. And please consider that these rich foreigners are currently coming here at the rate of 2-4 million each year.
Numbers of American Homes that could have been built for 45 Trillion?
45,000,000,000,000 / 200,000 = 450,000,000 / 2 = 225,000,000 = 225 Million American Homes. In other words our cumulative national debt would allow the replacement of every home in the United States (140 million) and we would have enough money to build another 85 Million homes after that.
* In 1999 the Federal Reserve bailed out a hedge fund that had lost 10 Billion dollars. Since it require 2 million, just to join this hedge fund, it is obvious that this is an instance where the Federal Reserve bailed out the elite.
So all I am really saying is, we should do the same thing for the American working class that we have done – many, many times – for the elite. Why should it be that “what is good for the Gander is not equally good for the Goose?”
I don’t want to trivialize the impact of such a departure from current thought. But the “inconvenient truth” is that the current economic paradigm cannot be sustained. It does not work for the American people any longer. The first step is obvious: Stop all further Legal/Illegal Immigration. In other words stop digging our selves deeper into trouble.
The second step will take all the intelligence we can muster: developing a new sociological-environmental-economic paradigm that will acknowledge the inalienable worth of each citizen and allow us to live sustainable within the limits our planet’s ecosystem.
Moving forward with humanity and intelligence is no longer an option: it is the only option.
The restructuring of our cumulative debt is inevitable. The only question is whether we will define the terms of this transition, or whether we will allow the Multi-national corporations to define those terms. I would not recommend the second option, which is currently at play.
DOBBS: A new poll shows large majorities of people in developed nations are simply fed up with globalization and so-called free trade policies, many people responding they believe that trade liberalization, as "The Financial Times" defines it, with countries such as communist China is hurting middle-class Americans and middle classes in -- throughout Europe as well. The U.S. trade deficit with China shows just how many products are now manufactured by Chinese workers. Last year, the United States imported more than $230 billion more from China than it exported. Christine Romans reports on the effect of the trade deficit on this nation's middle class. (BEGIN VIDEOTAPE) CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): A majority of citizens in the U.S., U.K. and Europe are finding globalization a dirty word. An FT/Harris poll finds a popular backlash against globalization and against the leaders of the world's biggest companies. An overwhelming majority says globalization has a negative effect. Fewer than 5 percent surveyed have great admiration for the heads of large companies. Globalization, instead, has become synonymous with rising inequality, outsourcing, and collapsing job security for the middle class. Labor economist Peter Morici: PETER MORICI, UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND: Globalization isn't treating people equally. In the process, it's weakening the very fiber of our economy. Folks can't afford to educate their children properly anymore. They can't afford to give them proper health care. Down the road, that leads to a labor force that isn't as well-equipped for the future. ROMANS: Morici says American trade policy with communist China in particular endangers true capitalism by rewarding one-party rule, suppression of the media, subsidized factories, and currency manipulation. But economist Rajeev Dhawan believes the backlash is because the benefits of globalization are hidden. RAJEEV DHAWAN, GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY: An accountant sitting in Atlanta now has competition from anybody that can do the basic stuff, whether they are in Manila, Moscow, anywhere. They don't even have to speak English. I think the trouble is that people can really see the costs very quickly of globalization, but not the benefits. The benefits are all spread out. ROMANS: Benefits, he says, like low interest rates, lower prices at Wal-Mart, and cheaper prices for outsourced technology services. (END VIDEOTAPE) ROMANS: But the fears of rising inequality among the richest nations puts policy-makers and business leaders on notice. A majority of citizens clearly do not believe that their leaders are pursuing trade policies that are fair to workers, citizens, and voters -- Lou. DOBBS: Well, certainly -- certainly, the issue of distribution of wealth and the -- and the sharing of wealth and income has become far more disproportionate than at any time since the Great Depression. It's a remarkable part of the story and much of the impetus for what the "Financial Times" poll revealed there. ROMANS: That's right. DOBBS: I love the fact that CEOs, only 5 percent are admired, putting their ratings just actually below that of Congress at 14 percent. (LAUGHTER) DOBBS: Twenty-nine -- you know, President Bush is soon going to be able to brag that he has the highest approval ratings among all of the principal institutions in the country, assuming that -- I better not say that. (LAUGHTER) DOBBS: He will have bragging rights. Thank you very much, Christine Romans.

Note: Original link (above) has tables for each survey question. It makes you wonder how long before the next Bastille occurs.
“How much do you admire those who run [your country’s] largest companies?”
Base: All EU adults in five countries and US adults
Source: Harris Interactive - Note: Percentages may not add up to 100% due to rounding - Italy is really the only country surveyed where there is still some admiration for corporate executives. With the exception of Italy, majorities have very little or no admiration for these executives.
An FT/Harris poll published today shows that popular backlash against globalisation and the leaders of the world's largest companies is sweeping all rich countries.
The Financial Times has reported that the British have the least admiration of any national group for the leaders of their country's largest companies, and a large majority believes the government should impose a pay cap on the heads of companies to limit their rewards.
Large majorities of people in the US and across Europe want higher taxation for the rich to counter a widespread belief that rewards are unjustified.
Supporting the view that globalisation is an overwhelmingly negative force, citizens of rich countries are looking to government to cushion the blows they perceive have come from the liberalisation of their economies to trade with emerging countries.
The FT says that those polled in the UK, France, the US and Spain were about three times more likely to say globalisation was having a negative rather than a positive effect on their countries. The majority against globalisation was smaller in Germany, with its large export base.
Corporate leaders fared little better with only 5 per cent or fewer people in the US and all large European economies, except Italy, saying they had a great deal of admiration for those who run large companies.
In the UK, nearly 80 per cent of those polled thought corporate executives earned too much,60 per cent said they should be taxed more and the same proportion thought the government should limit their pay directly.
This FT/Harris Poll was conducted online by Harris Interactive among a total of 6,360 adults (aged 16-64) within France (1,020), Germany (1,046), Great Britain (1,040), Spain (1,116) and the United States (1,054) and adults (aged 18-64) in Italy (1,084) between 5 and 13 July 2007.
Here is an example of legislation that should be adopted by all 50 States!
Illegal aliens are self-deporting from Georgia to return to Mexico. Interview with D.A. King, The Dustin Inman Society, on July 6, 2007, who states "that was exactly the intent" of Senate Bill 529, passed in 2006.
The Editor of New Age Citizen, is considering giving a series of lectures that challenge the current "Demopublican" plutocracy with policy alternatives that are more to the interests of the American working class. The first lecture in the series will most likely address the current Immigration Reform measures that are being debated both in Congress and on the streets of America.
Lecture #001: No More Immigration: Legal or Illegal
This lecture will address the virtual propaganda surrounding the current immigration debate. It will expose the larger agenda that is intent on destroying the middle class by attempting to merge the United States into a "North American Union" consisting of Mexico, Canada and the United States. The primary argument against immigration focuses on the inability of the United States to provide adequate sustainable resources for the 200 million additional immigrants that will exceed the carrying capacity of this great country by 2050. The lecture will conclude that the best interests of legal American citizens will be served by implementing mandatory employer Social Security checks; punishing employers with extreme prejudice and putting an end to all Legal/Illegal immigration until the real wages of Americans is at or beyond what they were at their apex in 1973. If you live in SE Michigan and are interesting in attending one of these activist lectures please send an email to get on our lecture list.
In addition to these lectures I am considering staging a demonstration against further immigration and Bush's agenda to destroy the American working class. More on that in the near future. Lastly, if you know of any Anti-Immigrant Demonstrations, anywhere in the US, let me know. I will begin to post these on the website.
The following YouTube Video has the Editor of New Age Citizen, Bruce W. Cain, describing an overview to the "New Agenda for America": [originally referred to as the "New Age Agenda"]:
"New Agenda for America" will become a slogan for referring to the set of policy positions that NAC will be promoting in the coming years. It refers to a disturbing trend whereby our elected representatives appear to be increasingly at odds with the values of the founding fathers of this country (e.g., Washington, Franklin, Jefferson) and the American people.
To get this off the ground I am creating a frames based page which will allow my visitors to both understand the rational behind New Age Citizen as well as the preliminary agenda for "New Agenda for America." I will place a link to this at the top right hand corner of the homepage for now. You can take a quick look by clicking below:
