If you've done the "essential reading" you will realize what a load of crap this article really is. If you have a subscription to "Time" I'd suggest canceling it as they are fervent supporters of unrestricted immigration.
"Connie Fogal, the redoubtable leader of the Canadian Action Party, delivers a hard hitting and passionate warning to all who refuse to believe that our democracy is being usurped by an elite few and is being sold off, brick by brick, to the highest bidder. Our very own elected politicians are in collusion with powerful private corporate interests, working together behind closed doors to bring in the ‘Security and Prosperity Partnership’ by “stealth” – as one proponent of the agreement put it – without public knowledge or consultation. In this presentation, she argues that Canadian sovereignty is very much at stake and she urges us to become informed and to take action before we ignorantly surrender all of our freedoms and public services to foreign corporate rule."
What I find most fascinating about her talk is the connection between the Bush Administratin, PNAC (who gave us "911" and the War in Iraq) and the North American Union. The more dots that connect -- the more apparent it becomes that the elite has a "not so hidden" agenda.

About a year ago I had a huge magnetic bumper sticker, made for me, that reads:
No More Immigration: Legal or Illegal

Now a lot of people kind of shook their heads a year ago when they saw this, as they approached the back of my car. I'm sure they we're regurgitating the various "sound bytes" implanted in their head by the Corporate Controlled Media (CCM):
* "We can't stop bringing in immigrants. After all we are a nation of immigrants. * "If we build a 20-foot wall the Undocumented Workers will just bring a 21-foot ladder. * Must be another one of the xenophobic, red-necked racists.
A year later the American people have truly been awakened.
* Last week the Senate temporarily tabled the "Kennedy/McCain Amnesty Bill" after nearly a million American citizens contacted their representatives and basically said: Vote for Amnesty and we will remove you from office with extreme prejudice. Numerous reporters for the CCM stated that they have never seen such a reaction, over any issue, by the American People. I can only say, hooray to that.
* Republican Presidential candidate, Tom Tancredo, upset a recent debate by saying we need a "3-year pause on the admission of both legal and illegal immigrants." The other republican candidates were awestruck. "No one is talking about stopping legal immigration," they said. But Tancredo responded that, until we understand the effects of recent record immigration numbers, legal immigration must definitely be stopped as well.
Now when I drive with this bumper sticker I observe my fellow American commuters giving me the "thumbs up," or beeping their horns in approval. Unfortunately the legal/illegal immigrants appear to be even less amused when they see this bumper magnet a year later. What could explain this change of attitude?
Well, before I get to that, I think it is very important to make something crystal clear. I am neither a conservative, xenophobic or racist. In point of fact, I would defy anyone to categorize me as a conservative or a liberal. Frankly, these labels have become meaningless anachronisms.
What I am is an American Citizen that has had it with a government that no longer listens to its legal citizens. What I am is an American Citizen who fully recognizes that our ecosystem can not possibly support the influx of another 200-300 million additional people that will surely come to our shores, should we allow the Amnesty Bill to become law. What I am is an American Citizen who is aware of the colonization of this country by various foreign elites -- Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern -- while American citizens are loosing their jobs, their homes and their futures.
Most important of all I am an American Citizen that is going to put a stop to this "Great Betrayal", on the part of our President and our Congressional representatives. And hopefully, many Americans are going to shelve their "joy sticks," turn off their TV's and help me out with this little project, as we expose Ford Motor's complicity in destroying the American working class on Saturday, September 8th, 2007. More on that later . . .
But let's get back to the question. What could explain this change of attitude where increasing numbers of Americans display their approval for my bumper sticker?
It is really pretty simple. First of all, I live in Dearborn Michigan where Ford Motor has recently eliminated over 60,000 American jobs over the last few years. Secondly, Dearborn/Dearborn Heights is becoming a magnet for very wealthy Middle-Eastern immigrants who now own virtually every gas station, dollar store and cell phone store in the area. And to make thing even worse nearly 7,000, of the richest Iraqi refugees, are due to arrive in this area in September.
So the increasing approval of this bumper sticker is due to a building perception that the American working class is getting screwed by their own government. And the problem is . . . THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
But why are the Illegal Immigrants getting so angry over the bumper sticker? Because they are beginning to understand that the American people are waking up and are not going to tolerate any further immigration. They are angry because they are beginning to realize that their illegal occupation is about to end.
The only remaining question is: WHAT ARE WE, THE AMERICAN CITIZEN, GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
Well the first thing you need to do is take out 5-Minutes to call your two state Senators and implore them not to sign the Senate Amnesty Bill. Here is the number:

Hopefully, we will be able to cooperate in future efforts to rejuvenate the meaning and value of American Citizenship by (1) securing our borders, (2) putting employers that hire Illegal Aliens in jail and (3) repatriating most of the Illegal Aliens to their respective countries of origin. [SNIP] According to Patrick Kilbride, executive director of the Council of the Americas' North American Business Committee "in partnership with United Parcel Service (UPS), will provide [on January 10-11, 2006] North American business leaders and government officials an opportunity for dialogue on the development and implementation of the SPP . . . More than 40 private sector participants from companies including Ford Motor Company, Tyco, Exxon Mobil and Grupo IMSA are expected to join government officials from the U.S. departments of State and Commerce, Mexico's Secretariat of Foreign Relations and Canada's Ministry of Industry at the forum in Louisville, Kentucky . . ."(69) [SNIP]
This text (above) makes quite clear that Ford Motor is intimately involved and interested in the implementation of the North American Union. The SPP, Security and Prosperity Partnership, is just another term for describing the North American Union (NAU).
[SNIP] Reuters reported that Ford Motor Co. is slashing 30,000 jobs and closing 14 plants in the United States and is preparing to invest up to $9.2 billion in Mexico from 2006 to 2012 and create up to 150,000 jobs as detailed in a confidential, 28-page document turned over to the Oakland Press in Detroit, by a Ford employee.
According to the document: "The Way Forward - Mexico (offers an) opportunity to further leverage Ford of Mexico cost advantage and location to reduce corporate fixed costs . . . We will leverage our global scale like never before and Mexico is a key partner as we're targeting lower fixed costs, better quality and speed to deliver our Way Forward plans . . . "(71) [SNIP]
So Fords "Way Forward" is really about destroying both American jobs and American manufacturing. It sounds much more like "A Race to the Bottom" to me. Can anyone argue against the reality that such moves, as described above, will ultimately destroy American jobs and American manufacturing capacity? What does Ford Executive, "Pretty Boy" Fields, think we are going to replace these jobs with: burger flipping jobs with no benefits, no vacation, no pension . . . and sadly no future? Which manufacturing plants will we be retooling, for the production of military capital, should we find ourselves at odds with China, Korea, or the evolving Crescent of Islamic Fundamentalism that is percolating in Iran right now? Is it only me that see's such acts as a betrayal of the American working class?
[SNIP] In "1968---The Hispanic organization, the Southwest Council of LaRaza Unida, is created with a $630,000 grant from the Ford Foundation, which supports the movement to bring massive numbers of Mexicans into the U.S. From 1968 to 1992, Ford Foundation grants to radical Hispanics totaled over $31 million. And according to Henry Santiestevan (former head of the Southwest Council of LaRaza), It would hardly be an exaggeration to say that the Ford Foundation is the Chicano movement."(14) Included in the list of well financed 'radical Hispanic' groups are the National Council of La Raza (i.e., The Race), MALDEF and LULAC. One other caveat is that the US Attorney General Gonzales is rumored to be a card carrying member of NCLR, a charge that he has never denied. What better way to achieve the goal of a North American Union than to arm a '5th column' of rabid racist Hispanics organizations that will support massive illegal immigration creating a de facto elimination of our borders as the CFR desires. Some wags have even said that the CFR initials probably stand for Carnegie, Ford and Rockefeller.(15)(16)

I'm fairly confident that many Ford employees would be upset if they really understood the degree to which Ford Motor, and other Multi-National Corporations are selling out their own workers. Again, I'm not out to reinvent the wheel here. Read through Daneen's article and absorb the other offerings at her website. I think she has done the public a great service by alerting us to this monumental example of social engineering by the world's elite.

David Icke - Was He Right? Notes: Though I don't agree with the alien stuff I have always been fascinated by Icke's world view. The Editor of New Age Citizen, is considering giving a series of lectures that challenge the current "Demopublican" plutocracy with policy alternatives that are more to the interests of the American working class. The first lecture in the series will most likely address the current Immigration Reform measures that are being debated both in Congress and on the streets of America.
Lecture #001: No More Immigration: Legal or Illegal
This lecture will address the virtual propaganda surrounding the current immigration debate. It will expose the larger agenda that is intent on destroying the middle class by attempting to merge the United States into a "North American Union" consisting of Mexico, Canada and the United States. The primary argument against immigration focuses on the inability of the United States to provide adequate sustainable resources for the 200 million additional immigrants that will exceed the carrying capacity of this great country by 2050. The lecture will conclude that the best interests of legal American citizens will be served by implementing mandatory employer Social Security checks; punishing employers with extreme prejudice and putting an end to all Legal/Illegal immigration until the real wages of Americans is at or beyond what they were at their apex in 1973.
