Marijuana and the "Fake" 2012 Presidential Election

[Note: This is part of a series of articles being written by "Bruce W. Cain" -- "write in" candidate for the 2012 Presidency.  To learn more please go to my homepage: http://www.newagecitizen.com ]

Overview:

Presidential "write in" Candidate Bruce W. Cain explains why he is the only candidate that supports the untaxed, unregulated self cultivation of Marijuana by adults along with a warning of what 2013 will bring should either Obama or Romney win the 2012 Election. His only hope is a concerted "viral" internet campaign by US activists.

I am making my first appearance as a "write in" candidate for the 2012 Presidency tonight (Labor Day: 09/03/20120).  In preparation for my first radio interview I thought it might be a good time to address a topic that has long been ascribed to me: Marijuana Legalization.  This is actually quite understandable given my record:

* First smoked Cannabis in 1968 as a young impressionable Unitarian Hippie.  Age 14.
* Became an activist for Marijuana Legalization and against the Viet Nam War by 1972, for which I became a "person of interest" to the government.  [In 1980 I learned that the government had been shadowing my since high school, according to my "Red File."]
* Began publishing a internationally syndicated magazine, "New Age Patriot" (1989 - 1997), that focused primarily on drug policy reform.
* Began a 20 year friendship with Jack Herer -- the most important activist in the Cannabis reform movement -- in 1989.

http://www.jackherer.com/chapters.html

* Organized the first international annual event to call for Global Marijuana Re-Legalization (1992).  The annual event was known as "International Drug Policy Day" and predated the Global Marijuana March by 8 years.
* Ran against US Congressman John Dingle on a "Marijuana Re-Legalization" platform in 1996.
* Ran as a "write in" candidate for President in 2008 for the US Marijuana Party.
* Organized a group of Cannabis Activists to defeat Prop19 (2010) because we felt that Prop19, and most Marijuana Initiatives -- before and since Prop19 -- were really just attempts to monopolize control, first to state controlled dispensaries and ultimately to Big Pharma.
* Collected over 1,000 signatures (2007) for the Michigan Medical Marijuana Initiative that passed by a landslide 63% of Michigan voters in 2008.
* Began drafting a model for Cannabis Legalization that avoids the trap of "taxation, regulation and government control  This has become known to some activists as the MERP Model (2009).  By following the link you will find over 50 videos and articles on my MERP Model.
* Finally at the tender age of 58 (Obama is currently 51, Romney is currently 65) I am once again running as a "write in" candidate for President and "Untaxed, Unregulated Marijuana Self Cultivation" remains one of my primary planks.

So "yes' it is both understandable and accurate to perceive me to be an advocate of "Untaxed, Unregulated Cannabis Self Cultivation."

But before going down that road you should know that I truly see Cannabis Legalization as a mere facet of a much larger and looming problem: the forced movement toward a "One World Government" by the Central Banks and Global Corporations.  This "coup de tat" has been facilitated by the globalist infiltration of government, universities and the media.  And it is through this coup that they have succeeded in reducing our Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches to mere globalist puppets.  And certainly this same fate has also occurred to our 4th Estate: the Corporate Media, which is now monopolized by a mere 6 Multi-National Corporations.  And then you have our Universities that have morphed from a "center of higher learning" toward an assembly line for corporate "suck ups," all too willing to compromise their values in order to service their Corporate masters.

To put it all in brutally simplistic terms most Americans are living in a media matrix where they are treated like mushrooms by being kept in the dark and fed a steady, unending supply of irrelevant and misleading bull shit.  But as I have explained in my first Presidential YouTube Video, The Great Betrayal, things are going to drastically change in 2013 regardless of which shill gets into office.  Yep in 2013 both parties are going to privatize your Social Security and drown both Medicare and Medicaid in a bathtub.  And this may very well begin what I call the 2nd American Revolution.  In the simplest of terms, this betrayal is going to push the American People into the streets.

When I think of what is about to befall the American People I am reminded of three important quotes.  The first comes from Thomas Jefferson who succinctly described what would occur should we allow the establishment of a Central Banking system, which we did in 1913 with the establishment of the Federal Reserve:

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, (i.e., the "business cycle") the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
Thomas Jefferson, President of the United States 1801-1809

The second quote comes from George Carlin (May 12, 1937 – June 22, 2008)  less than a year before he passed.  I have yet to hear a better, more incisive summary of what we US Citizens are now facing than in this rant which he titles "The American Dream":

"But there's a reason. There's a reason. There's a reason for this, there's a reason education SUCKS, and it's the same reason it will never ... ever ... EVER be fixed. It's never going to get any better, don't look for it, be happy with what you've got. ... ... ... BECAUSE ... THE OWNERS, OF THIS COUNTRY, DON'T WANT THAT! ... ... I'm talking about the real owners now ... ... ... ... ... the BIG owners! ... ... ... The Wealthy ... ... ... ... ... the REAL owners! ... The big wealthy business interests that control things ... and make all the important decisions. ... ... ... ...
Forget the politicians. They are irrelevant. ... ... The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice . . . ... you don't. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU. They own everything. They own all the important land. ... They own and control the corporations. They've long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. ...
They got you by the balls. ... ... They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying ... . . . lobbying, ... to get what they want . . . ... Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but Ill tell you what they don't want . . . they don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. ... ... They don't want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that . . . that doesn't help them. That's against their interests. That's right. ... ... They don't want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly they're getting FUCKED by a system that threw them overboard 30 FUCKING years ago. ... ... They don't want that! You know what they want? They want obedient workers . . . Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. ... And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they're coming for your ... Social Security money. ... ... ... They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? ... ... ... They'll get it . . . they'll get it all from you sooner or later cause they own this FUCKING place! Its a big club, and you ain't in it! ... ... ... ... You, and I, are not in The big club. By the way, its the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table has tilted folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care! Good honest hard-working people . . . white collar, blue collar it doesn't matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard-working people continue, these are people of modest means . . . continue to elect these rich COCK SUCKERS who don't give a FUCK about you. They don't give a FUCK about you . . . ... they don't give a FUCK about you. .... .... They don't care about you at all . . . at all . . . at all, and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday, because the owners of this country know the truth. Its called the American Dream, ... cause you have to be asleep to believe it . . ."

George Carlin – The American Dream [Version 01]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RhIxxvYtRE&feature=player_embedded

The last quote comes from musician Frank Zappa who in my mind was also one of the smartest intellectual hippies from the 1960's:

"The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theatre."
Frank Zappa.

I also happen to see myself as an intellectual hippie and I'm proud to say that.  I would also make the claim that our founding fathers were also essentially intellectual hippies as well.  I mean just consider all that we hold in common:

* Both the founding fathers and the hippies were ardent supporters of growing hemp (e.g., Marijuana) to "grow" the US economy.
* Both the founding fathers and the hippies were advocates of "self sufficiency" (e.g., the Yeoman Farmer), inalienable rights and preserving national sovereignty.
* Both the founding fathers and the hippies were against the globalist control of our economy through the establishment of Central Banks.

I have been posting the Frank Zappa quote frequently, over the last 6 months, because I think it perfectly summarizes what we are going to start experiencing in 2013: the downsizing of the American People and the incineration of the American Dream.

I really do want to vet the presidential candidates on the issue of Marijuana Legalization.  But first I think it essential that the American People begin to understand the "big picture" as to why they are about to get that "big red, white and blue dick" shoved up their collective asses in 2013 regardless of which clueless shill (e.g. Obama or Romney) happens to "win" in November 2013.

First it might be instructive to know that I am a copious reader.  At the tender age of 12 I was already reading things like "The Power Elite" by CW Mills, "The Doors of Perception" by Huxely etc.  And for the next 48 years I, like all "armchair philosophers," have been trying to understand a very basic set of questions: why are we here and where are we going.  Through my readings in Macro Sociology, Economics and numerous other areas, it became clear to me that there has always been an elite controlling the architecture of all societies.  But until recently I had yet to find a simple way to explain to the American people how this has come about and what "the plan" consists of.

Then I started reading up on the UN's "Agenda 21" whereupon I realized that this document perfectly describes the scenario that is playing out both in the United States and throughout the planet.  As I have stated previously, in other articles, Agenda 21 is the "Rosetta Stone" for understanding what will befall us should we not act soon.  It, in a nutshell, it is a template for that "One World Government" that HW Bush first mentioned in 1992.  Essentially what is playing out now is the implosion of what I call the "Petro, Corporate Ponzi" Epoch that is based on a "exponential growth model:" a model that has ultimately failed consistently in nature and always will.

As there is plenty of information on Agenda 21, available through Google and YouTube, I will leave it to the reader to do their own research into this.  But as you do your research you will find that Agenda 21 explains exactly what is transpiring in the world today.  In essence the "Petro, Corporate Ponzi" Epoch is in it's death throws and the Central Banks and Global Corporations desperately want to maintain control.  To do this they want to take away your guns, control your access to food and reduce every American to "third world economic status."  Why would they want to do this?  Because they fully realize that as the screws of "global austerity" are tightened us "indians" are going to start going "ape shit" on the leaders and corporations that have betrayed them.  And as I stated in my video, The Great Betrayal, the social unrest is going to start with the destruction of Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare.

Agenda 21 also explains the real reason that Marijuana became illegal and remains illegal to this very day.  Let me briefly connect the dots for you.

* Rockefeller, who established the Standard Oil Monopoly in the late 1800's, was one of the main proponents for the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937.  As Jack Herer explains, in "the Emperor Wears No Clothes," the primary reason that Marijuana became illegal was that it posed a considerable threat to Big Oil, Big Paper and Big Synthetics.  Why?  Because Marijuana (e.g., Hemp, Cannabis) is the most efficient source of biomass on the planet.  You can produce 4 times as much paper, with an acre seeded with hemp, than you can produce on the same acre seeded with corn.  Worst of all, for globalists like Rockefeller, is the added fact that (1) Marijuana can be grown in a very wide range of climates and (2) Marijuana stalks, seeds and oils can produce virtually anything that is currently produced through trees and petro chemicals.

* Rockefeller also formed the UN which is the very origin of Agenda 21 which I would describe as a template for Global Monopolization by the Central Banks and Global Corporations.

Yes, I'm sure many of you are going to say I'm simply nuts or ill informed.  But fortunately this is all well documented in the following article:

Ill-Gotten Gains, The Rockefeller War on Drugs
http://www.rockefellerdrugwars.com/

If you consider yourself to be a Cannabis Activist then you really need to thoroughly read and understand what is in that article.  I would also like to see my supporters read through these following sources to better understand what I like to call the "Big Picture" regarding both Agenda21 and the movement to "tax, regulate and control" Marijuana.  The "Century of the Self" describes how our representative democratic republic has been taken over by globalists that engineer our behavior through control of the media.  The second will give you some historic background on how and why Monsanto, Obama and others are attempting to create a Corporate Monopoly for the production and distribution of Marijuana.

Monsanto, and GMO Terminator Cannabis

I cannot overemphasize the need for Marijuana Activists, and US Citizens, to absorb what is in these sources that I just mentioned.  I'm not the most humble person you are ever going to meet.  I maintain that I know as much about drug policy as ANYONE walking this planet.  And I'm forwarding these sources to the American People because you are far better off with this "cold bucket" of reality than you are going to be with the "fire hose enema" that both Obama and Romney are going to subject you to should either win in November 2012.  So please, take the 4 or 5 hours required to understand what is contained at these links.

Ok.  Now once you absorb what is in the links above things are going to start making a whole lot more sense to you.  And "yes" it could take you a couple of weeks research before you truly understand what a predicament we are in.  And finally it will also give some clue as to why, despite having no chance of winning, I am beginning my "write in" Presidential Candidacy in September of 2012.

So let us take a look at all of the candidates that will be on the ballot and understand why none of them have any real intention of allowing you the inalienable right to "grow your own" Cannabis without the encumbrances of "tax, regulation and control."

I think most activist know, by now, that neither Obama or Romney have any intention of allowing adults, like yourselves, to "grow your own" Marijuana despite the fact that you can brew your own beer.  And the reason is really quite simple: they are both Globalist Corporate Whores.

Obama: Democrat

Romney: Republican

But many activist still hold out scant hope in supporting Jill Stien or Gary Johnson:

Jill Stein: Green Party

I think Green Party Candidate Jill Stein has everything right about Marijuana except this:

"If we regulate and tax it, so that it is not available to young people, bring marijuana into a regulatory framework -- there are so many reasons why this is a win-win for our agriculture, for our economy, for our energy future and for our health benefits," Stein said.

'They Should Not Be Allowed To Impede Access To Marijuana'
By Steve Elliott Friday, July 13, 2012
http://www.tokeofthetown.com/2012/07/they_should_not_be_allowed_to_impede_access_to_mar.php

Gary Johnson: Libertarian Party

In the video, embedded in the article below, Johnson says "legalize it, regulate it and tax it."

Gary Johnson Tries to Inject Pot Legalization Into the Presidential Race
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/07/gary-johnson-tries-to-inject-pot-legalization-into-the-presidential-race/260162/

Of course many are going to say why didn't you mention Ron Paul.  Well, first of all he is not going to be running or on the ballot.  Secondly he also doesn't support adult self cultivation.  And finally he is a myopic libertarian who want to privatize Social Security while collecting it himself.   I actually ran as a Libertarian, for US Congress, in 1996.  And while I did get the highest Libertarian vote in Michigan, a scant 1.8%, they won't let me run as a Libertarian because they don't like some of my political planks.  It is true I do agree with many of Ron Paul's positions.  But on issues, such as privatizing Social Security, the man is nuts.  Sorry if that upsets any Tea Partier's out there.

Concluding Remarks:

So here is the choice.  If Obama or Romney win the War on Marijuana Consumers will continue.  If Jill Stein or Gary Johnson make a very unlikely win we might get a "tax and regulate" solution.  Should we go down the road of "tax and regulation" the only people growing Cannabis will be Crony State Controlled Dispensaries followed by a complete monopolization by Big Pharma. This is not the road we wish to travel.

So we're screwed, right?

Well most probably: YES.  On the other hand there is a very remote chance that the 66% of Americans, that now support full legalization could get off their collective butts and get the following link sent virally across FaceBook and the rest of the internet:

Bruce Cain for 2012 Presidency wants a "Green Economy based on Marijuana"
http://www.newagecitizen.com/

You see since Spring of 2009 we, the Cannabis Consumers of the United States, became the majority for the first time since Marijuana became illegal in 1937.  And now the Gallup polls estimate that we now comprise a majority somewhere close to 56% of the electorate.  Furthermore, with changing demographics -- mainly more conservative anti-pot folk dying off -- this majority will increase by at least 2-4% with each passing year.

Record-High 50% of Americans Favor Legalizing Marijuana Use: October 17, 2011
Liberals and those 18 to 29 most in favor; Americans 65 and older most opposed
http://www.gallup.com/poll/150149/record-high-americans-favor-legalizing-marijuana.aspx

So let me make this plain and simple for you.  We could make history in 2012 by upsetting the status quo and getting about 50 million voters to simply write in "Bruce W. Cain" for President.  Or we could continue to, as George Carlin put it, get that "big red, white and blue dick" shoved up our collective asses in 2013.

It is your move.  Please join the viral internet campaign to elect Bruce W. Cain to the Presidency.

Then perhaps we will at least get some of that change we've been hoping for over the last 75 years.  Because, if by some miracle, I were to be elected I will be smoking at my inauguration and my first priority will be the total and immediate Re-Legalization of Cannabis for all adult United States Citizens.

And how do you participate.  Again, just keep posting this link on FaceBook and the rest of the Internet:

Thanks for your consideration,

Yours in Peace and Freedom,

Here are some additional links containing many of my writings and videos.  The "New Agenda for America" was first drafted as a set of political planks for my 2008 Presidency.  This remains in tact and will be abridged with additional planks including: (1) an end to Monsanto and GMO foods, (2) taking Fluoride out of the US water supply, (3) taking BPA out of all the plastic bottles and other containers, (4) a full and independent investigation into "911," "The Housing Bubble" and other government sanctioned crimes, (5) a real and comprehensive energy policy that will be based on a goal of getting all Americans off Obama's "smart grid" and in possession of solar panels, as has been successfully done in Germany, where they have produced the equivalent of "6 nuclear" plants worth of electricity from solar.
